Pupillage Programme Print

Are you highly motivated, ambitious and creative?
Do you have high morals and are a person of integrity?
Are you also a team player?

If you are all those, we are interested in talking to you.

At KhattarWong we know that our practice can only be as strong as the people we recruit and train. We are therefore committed to continuing your legal training in a programme that is at once comprehensive, structured and dynamic. An integral part of any good training program is the assurance of breadth of exposure coupled with depth of knowledge shared.

Our greatest assets are our people. This cornerstone necessitates our being stringent in our selection process for pupils and we are committed to retaining all pupils and grooming them to be future leaders of our Firm. In 2008, 100% of our pupils were retained as associates.

We believe in diversity and welcome law graduates from the National University of Singapore, the Singapore Management University and from other recognised overseas. Ideally, applicants should be in line for a Second Class (Upper) or higher, although we will consider applicants with Second Class (Lower) qualifications as well.

Being Part of the KhattarWong Family

From day one, we welcome you into the KhattarWong fold. This means that, aside from the professional training and staff welfare benefits, we encourage you to adopt the ideals that drive us here at KhattarWong. Ideals that include striving to be the best in the field and to being performance driven and results oriented. We also urge the observance of a culture of respect for colleagues across departments and professions.

We value camaraderie and friendship amongst the KhattarWong family. To that end, we have regular social events such as teas, after-office drinks, movie nights, sporting events and firm trips to encourage everyone to meet informally and get to know one another.

In addition we strive to be a firm with a heart, to make a positive impact in the world around us and to help the underprivileged and the less fortunate. To that end, KhattarWong encourages all employees to participate in giving back to community via pro bono work, volunteerism, fund-raising, donations and other charitable events.
