KhattarWong was abuzz with much activity on Friday 8 August 2008 as we celebrated Singapore's 43rd birthday in true-blue KW fashion with fun, food and drinks! With rousing tunes of 'Count on me, Singapore' and ‘Home’ echoing along the corridors, it was a flurry of excitement and laughter from our colleagues who were decked out in red and white outfits and ethnic costumes to show their love and patriotism to this beautiful island country. The inter-department singing competition brought out the hidden talents who rallied the strong crowd and sang along to well-loved national day songs. It is also befitting that while we celebrate the nation's birthday, some of our colleagues were recognised and applauded for their loyalty and commitment to the Firm when they were presented with their long service awards.
