KhattarWong marked Formula One’s first-ever night race in style with a string of parties held in the firm’s offices in conjunction with the Automobile Association of Singapore (AA).

The parties saw 200 clients from KhattarWong and the AA mingling with senior partners, consultants and lawyers from KhattarWong as well as Mr Bernard Tay, the President of Automobile Association of Singapore, Mr Lee Wai Mun, the CEO of AA and other members of staff from AA.

The festivities were held in KhattarWong’s office on the 25th floor of UOB Plaza on the 27th and 28th of September, while a bash was thrown for KhattarWong’s staff on 26th September, the day of the practice race.

Guests at the parties got to catch some of the live action on the race circuit from the building which overlooks the Padang and the Esplanade. They caught the rest of the action on four widescreen plasma television sets in the conference rooms which had been transformed from corporate meeting rooms into a trendy bar with cocktail tables and bar stools.

With drinks and food flowing, the guests relaxed and mingled as they swopped opinions on the race and drivers and enjoyed the race together. Those inspired by the Grand Prix got the chance to try their hand at high-speed racing on an X-box which had been set up especially for the event. The hosts of the evenings entertained the crowd with games which saw guests predicting the leaders on the circuit at different points during the race, answering question about the F1 in a quiz and even mimicking the sounds of an F1 car in a bid to win prizes.

Also on hand to add to the fanfare were race queens who mingled with guests, encouraging them to play games, and a string quartet, which earned rave reviews with their performances.

In a night which saw exciting feats of speed, fun and games and camaraderie develop between new friends, guests bore witness to one of the most eagerly anticipated Grand Prix in Formula One history.
