At KhattarWong, we believe that inculcating a positive work-life balance and caring for our employees extend beyond the various firm events and programmes. We take an active approach in forging relationships and maintaining close ties with their families and children. Following the success of last year's Bring Your Kids to Work Day, the firm opened its doors to more than 30 children between the ages of 4 to 14 years old on 1 December 2009. A fun-filled day of activities packed with movie sessions, colouring competition, story-telling session, balloon sculptures to take home, cotton candy and ice-cream for everyone, it was also a learning session and opportunity for these children to gain first-hand experience of what their parents do and life in the workforce. For some children, the day also brought them much cheer as they benefitted from the KW Education Assistance Fund (KWEAF) to aid in their education and academic needs. Receiving their financial grants from senior partner Mr Abdul Rashid, the awards will provide financial help to some of our needy employees's school-going children and support in their pursuit of education, especially in this current economic downturn. In line with the firm's focus on education, the KWEAF was set up in July 2009 with the kind contributions by the Management and Equity Partners. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
