KhattarWong is pleased to announce the addition of Jim Lim and Lim Mei Ann to our law practice, and Ng Yeow Khoon’s promotion to Equity Partner. Mr Jim Lim has been practising law for the past 26 years. He now heads KhattarWong’s Intellectual Property and Technology Department. He specialises in patents, trademarks and confidential information law, as well as in the intellectual property related areas of information technology, Internet, computer law, employment, media and entertainment law. Mr Lim represents a wide variety of multinational clients both international and home grown providing advice on use of domain names in e-commerce, jurisdictional and best practices issues. He is a graduate of National University of Singapore and is a Registered Patent Agent and Notary Public. Highly regarded by his clients and peers, Mr Lim’s accolades include being recognised as a leading practitioner by Asia-Pacific Legal 500, AsiaLaw Leading Lawyers, Practical Law Company’s “Which Lawyer?”, Who’s Who Legal and Global Counsel 3000. Ms Lim Mei Ann joins KhattarWong’s Banking, Finance and Property Department. With her substantial experience both in practice and as in-house counsel of a major local bank, Ms Lim advises a wide spectrum of real estate, and banking and finance matters. Clients will benefit from her sharpened understanding of bi-lateral and syndicated loan transactions, security and other loan documentation, international trade finance and other banking and finance arrangements. Mr Ng Yeow Khoon, who has been practising law for the past 15 years, is a Partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department. He is an experienced litigator specialising in banking and finance-related litigation, insolvency and restructuring and general commercial litigation. Yeow Khoon also regularly advises and acts for many major local and foreign banks and financial institutions in Singapore in their banking disputes and insolvency matters.
