As part of KhattarWong’s culture to promote continuous learning and engaging the business community via speaking engagement – our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team held its Insurance Law Update on 12 November 2008. In attendance at the session, which lasted half a day, were more than 80 delegates, comprising of brokers and agents from various insurance and reinsurance companies. The programme brought delegates up to speed on the latest updates and developments in insurance law through a series of case studies. Mr K. Anparasan, Deputy Managing Partner, along with Mr Abdul Rashid Gani, Senior Partner, Mr P.E. Ashokan, Partner, Mr Chia Ho Choon, Partner and Mr Patrick Yeo, Partner, facilitated the lively question and answer session which saw many of the participants come forth with frank and sometimes complex queries, which were all ably fielded by our team of experts.
